Episode 78
78: Marina Nabao: Erotic Aliveness, Spiritual Longing, and the Path Back to Wholeness
Marina Nabao is a somatic trauma healer, mentor, and senior faculty member at VITA Coaching, devoted to guiding individuals and couples back to their erotic aliveness and relational wholeness. With training in Somatic Experiencing®, VITA Sex, Love & Relationship Coaching, Ontological Coaching, Breath Coaching, and Relational Life Couples Coaching, Marina blends clinical depth with warmth, inviting people into a more embodied, connected way of living.
In this episode, we explore the intersection of trauma healing, spirituality, and erotic aliveness. Marina shares her belief that many people on a healing and self-development path are also experiencing a deeper spiritual longing; one that often gets lost in the demands and disconnection of everyday life.
She introduces the concept of erotic mysticism: a path of reconnecting with the divine through the body, the senses, and the experience of pleasure. Rather than transcending the body, Marina invites us to come home to it, using sensation, aliveness, and even ecstasy as gateways back to connection, creation, and meaning.
We talk about the importance of relational healing, the power of safe connection, and why true transformation doesn’t happen in isolation. Marina also shares how her group work creates spaces for people to explore these deeper layers of self, expand their capacity for intimacy, and reconnect with both their humanity and their spirituality.
This conversation is an invitation to rethink healing; not as something separate from pleasure or spirituality, but as a fully embodied experience of coming home to yourself.

Cherie Lindberg
Hi, I'm Cherie Lindberg, and welcome to Elevated Life Academy where we share real stories of healing, hope and transformation. Tune in to hear how everyday people are rising above and lighting the way for others.
00;00;20;04 - 00;00;44;11
Cherie Lindberg
Welcome to another episode of Elevated Life Academy and I am your host, Cherie Lindberg. And we have Marina as a guest today. And I will let her introduce herself. And as we always do, we're going to have a healing conversation and we're going to see where that takes us. So welcome, Marina. Please introduce yourself.
00;00;44;13 - 00;01;11;10
Marina Nabao
Yeah. Thank you for having me. I'm Marina, and I am a somatic experiencing practitioner. I'm a coach in the realms of sex, love, and relationships. So my work is really in the intersection of relational somatic stroma healing and erotic mysticism, which is the junction of eroticism with our spirituality. I work with individuals and couples and also with groups.
00;01;11;12 - 00;01;24;13
Marina Nabao
So my rhotic mysticism work is more geared to towards groups and then relational healing and trauma healing is geared towards individuals and couples. Very happy to be here with you today.
00;01;24;20 - 00;01;42;12
Cherie Lindberg
Yes. Thank you so much. So could you tell us a little bit more about the mysticism and eroticism? Because I'm sure our listeners are very curious about that topic. So tell us a little bit more about your work and how that might help people heal. Yeah.
00;01;42;15 - 00;02;14;25
Marina Nabao
So I like to say that most people who are very much geared towards healing and self-development and coaching and improvement and transformation, I understand that most of these people also have a spiritual craving. That's so much of the hardship of being in this human body and experiencing this very incarnate, tangible human life. Sometimes disconnect us from the bigger picture of our spirituality.
00;02;14;28 - 00;02;49;03
Marina Nabao
And erotic mysticism is a pathway towards that. Right. The mystic, like globally in various cultures, is the one who is seeking to merge with the divine, who is seeking to go back to that union with the divine God goddess, the universe, nature, whatever expression of divine works for you. And the rhotic mystic has this unique quality of seeking that merge, that going back home through the body, through the senses, through pleasure.
00;02;49;06 - 00;03;28;22
Marina Nabao
It is through their life ness of the body, their life ness, of the experiences of goodness, of ecstasy and bliss that many of us can reconnect to that view that many of us can ring. Counter the power of creation from which all of us came from, right? So in my group work, what I do is to promote practices and processes and experiences where people have the opportunity to walk that path back to that merging.
00;03;28;23 - 00;04;05;21
Marina Nabao
And what I love about it is that it then enables us to be more humane. It's very interesting that the spiritual path is a way to bring us back to more of our humanity, and when we are more anchored in our humanity, we are more anchored in the humanity of others around us, which is deeply relational, right? So there is a way that when I remember that I am one with the divine, I have just forgotten that I am an expression right of the power of creation.
00;04;05;26 - 00;04;33;24
Marina Nabao
I can look at my peers. I can look at my partner, at my children, at my neighbors, at people that I don't know through those eyes as well. And then I can choose to have better relationships with them, right? Relationships that are more connected. I can choose to repair conflict, to deal with conflicts in ways that promote ease and flow, and that benefit all people involved.
00;04;33;27 - 00;05;02;09
Marina Nabao
So for me, the path of the erotic mystic is both a spiritual path, but also a path back to our deeper humanity and the relationality that is involved in that humanity, which counterbalances this culture of individualism. This what I call them epidemic of disembowelment, of disconnection, where more connected to our forms than we are to the person sitting next to us.
00;05;02;14 - 00;05;23;17
Marina Nabao
Right. So for me, it is through the spiritual path that we can come back here in these embodied in Khanate experience and choose to relate a little bit more differently, with more presence, with more love, with more compassion, with more willingness to make this work. Does that make sense? Yeah.
00;05;23;18 - 00;05;56;16
Cherie Lindberg
Oh, yeah. I really love your language around all this. I'm participating in a documentary from Peruvian traditions called movie, and it's basically what you're saying. It's a return to ourselves, who we really are. But I really like how you laid it out in that when we merge with the divine, basically, what you're saying is that we become conscious again and that this consciousness allows us to really be intentional about how we show up and connect with, with others in our life.
00;05;56;23 - 00;06;04;13
Cherie Lindberg
So what would be some examples of how you might help people wake up to that, to the divine within themselves?
00;06;04;16 - 00;06;45;15
Marina Nabao
So it's all starts to really with embodiment. It's coming back home to the body, to the senses, to the impulses of the body, to the animal body. Right. So depending on where the person is, is in their journey of embodiment, it looks like doing practices and processes that will bring their attention back in. Right. And enable them to be more authentic in the expression of what their body is asking them to do through leaning towards retreating, completing stress cycles, discharging survival energy.
00;06;45;16 - 00;07;17;07
Marina Nabao
So this is very much the somatic experiencing practitioner in me. And when people are ready, that looks like adding the element of pleasure in eroticism to the embodiment journey. So I teach people how to explore their bodies, their sexuality, their pleasure in very deep ways. I use techniques and technologies that draw from sexual dow, which is one branch inside of Daoist Newton.
00;07;17;09 - 00;07;48;26
Marina Nabao
In a lot of somatic work, a lot of awareness, breathing, sounding, moving, engaging, right moving energy. So much of my work has to do with energetic activation and then expanding that capacity to be with pleasure, expanding the capacity to hold on to the pleasurable experiences and let it circulate through the body, through the energetic centers. For some people, it's the shackles, for others, it's other names.
00;07;48;29 - 00;08;27;22
Marina Nabao
Right? So and from that, what happens is when people are in very heightened states of pleasure for a long time, for an extended period of time. Usually there is a very interesting mind shift that happens, but then leads them to this awareness of the connection with all of life, with the power of creation, with the divine right. So it's almost like a journey of accessing the body, accessing the the needs of the body, the wants of the body, the energy motion of the body.
00;08;27;26 - 00;08;43;18
Marina Nabao
And then feeling pleasure, expanding that pleasure and then entering this. It's almost a trans like state and altered state of consciousness that then opens us to this door of like, oh, here we are.
00;08;43;21 - 00;09;12;12
Cherie Lindberg
Yeah, yeah, I really I really like how you're describing this because as you're talking, I'm just thinking about it and I talk about this too, is that especially folks that have had a history of trauma, there can be a receiving issue, you know, to be able to receive goodness and to receive pleasure, just like you're saying. And so this is really making a lot of sense to me that helping first them identify all the needs that they have.
00;09;12;15 - 00;09;34;02
Cherie Lindberg
And then once they I call it hitting the jackpot. Once you get into the blissful state, I'm hearing you say that you're teaching them how to expand and be able to hang in there for a while or to anchor it inside. And this is the vehicle or the portal in to the connection with the divine. Am I following you?
00;09;34;04 - 00;09;35;08
Cherie Lindberg
Yeah, yeah.
00;09;35;09 - 00;09;42;24
Marina Nabao
That's still to be right. And it's interesting because we all have that at capacity somewhere inside of.
00;09;42;25 - 00;09;43;22
Cherie Lindberg
Yeah, yeah.
00;09;43;23 - 00;10;34;16
Marina Nabao
So my work is to really walk step by step in that process with people. And then they get there and then the altered state of consciousness comes, and then they experience their own divinity, their own aliveness, their own power to be creators in this life as well. And what you said about trauma survivors is a part of this conversation, because so much that is missed in trauma healing modalities or in the way that people process trauma, is that pleasure, whether that's actually not pleasure, goodness is actually what starts healing the nervous system when there is a big rupture in that cinema system.
00;10;34;16 - 00;10;53;17
Marina Nabao
So learning to take in good sensations. Yeah. To hang with good sensations. I'd like to say to stretch the time that you spent in goodness is actually the healing of the nervous system that is holding on to survive only in trauma.
00;10;53;19 - 00;11;25;06
Cherie Lindberg
I really love what you're what you're saying. One of the couple of different people that come to mind is Rick Hansen talks about taking in the good practicing, taking that in because he's got a book hardwired for happiness, or even Deb Dino. And she talks about the glimmers, you know, again, being able to anchor that in and stretch the time that because I think that's what we're all seeking, you know, is to be able to have that and that I really love.
00;11;25;08 - 00;11;34;27
Cherie Lindberg
I really was connecting to what you were saying about anchoring into that aliveness, to be able to really feel truly alive, because why else are we here? Yeah.
00;11;35;00 - 00;12;02;26
Marina Nabao
And that's exciting. It's interesting because we can look at trauma as this fragmentation and this process that disconnects us from the natural flow of a liveness in our lives. Yeah, right. To use Doctor Peter Levine's metaphor of the river of life trauma shortens those river banks and less of life can flow through us.
00;12;02;28 - 00;12;04;00
Cherie Lindberg
Yes, yes.
00;12;04;06 - 00;12;12;29
Marina Nabao
But what what I'm very interested in is to also realize that there is no life without trauma.
00;12;13;01 - 00;12;14;08
Cherie Lindberg
00;12;14;10 - 00;12;49;11
Marina Nabao
And if we walk around the world, everyone has experienced some degree of trauma. Of course some people more dramatic traumatic experiences and some people less. But the common ground is that every single human being in this earth has some sort of trauma. Whether that's relational shock, trauma, whatever it is. So for me it's very interesting how sometimes people get so precious around my trauma.
00;12;49;13 - 00;13;01;20
Marina Nabao
My this happened to me, my thing, my thing and hold on to that experience in such a way that they're actually reinforcing that rupture from more flow of life.
00;13;01;25 - 00;13;07;22
Cherie Lindberg
Yes. Yeah. Almost identifying with is what you're saying. Yes. Yeah.
00;13;07;24 - 00;13;27;26
Marina Nabao
So part of the trauma healing process, I do think, is the very spiritual awareness that first trauma is part of life. Everyone has it. And it can be a very interesting opportunity for us to reconnect with the aliveness in us.
00;13;28;03 - 00;13;29;12
Cherie Lindberg
Yes.
00;13;29;14 - 00;13;45;04
Marina Nabao
And then we shift a little bit this mindset of oh poor me. Look at what's happened to me into a more empowering narrative. Oh I'm so sorry this happened to me. This is not nice. This is not a home.
00;13;45;10 - 00;13;45;27
Cherie Lindberg
Yes.
00;13;46;01 - 00;14;19;23
Marina Nabao
And yet I still have some resemblance of that thread of a liveness. And I want to seek that back, and I want to incur that back. And I will embody more of that. Yeah. Right. So for me, the trauma healing process that does not remind people that, look, it's part of life. It's not fun, it's not good. And it's also a doorway for you to reclaim even more of their liveness that you were used to experience.
00;14;19;26 - 00;14;47;16
Cherie Lindberg
Absolutely. Okay. I mean, yeah, it you know, the hope here is that it will motivate people to heal so that they can feel fully alive. And just by sharing this on this podcast, I'm that's what this is called, Elevated Life Academy, you know, stories of hope and healing because we're trying to bring hope to folks saying, hey, you know, trauma doesn't define you.
00;14;47;19 - 00;14;57;00
Cherie Lindberg
Like, there's so much that you can do so that you can heal and live a full life. So I'm just hearing you reinforce that.
00;14;57;03 - 00;15;23;28
Marina Nabao
Yeah. It's it's it's that in and that's the thing because there's this fragmentation in this rupture of the flow of life, of our lives. Trauma really impacts our ability to be relational. I do think that a good trauma healing process is also guiding people back into more relationality, obviously being more relational to themselves first.
00;15;24;00 - 00;15;24;18
Cherie Lindberg
Yes.
00;15;24;26 - 00;16;08;06
Marina Nabao
Right. It starts within the individual individually, but then turning outwards, back into this world. The same words, the same world that oftentimes has hurt us, has caused the trauma. And what a brave act it is to gain that aliveness back, and then to be able to open our hearts back, to open ourselves back, to let go of so much, you know, protective mechanisms or so many ways that we distance of so much individualism that is causing other traumas on us and go back to experiencing relationality, to experiencing the world.
00;16;08;08 - 00;16;08;29
Cherie Lindberg
00;16;09;01 - 00;16;35;04
Marina Nabao
I, I think it's clear now in:00;16;35;05 - 00;16;35;23
Cherie Lindberg
Right.
00;16;35;25 - 00;16;36;10
Marina Nabao
Yes.
00;16;36;11 - 00;17;11;16
Cherie Lindberg
Yeah. Yeah. Well, and interestingly, I'm listening to what you're saying. And of course, relational trauma is the big one of the big things here. We we we get traumatized the relationship, but we also heal in relationship. And interestingly, I really like the way that you said, first, let's have a relationship with ourselves. What I see quite often is that people are externally focused, their externally focused out here and all the if only if these relationships were all good, then I'd feel better inside.
00;17;11;16 - 00;17;24;03
Cherie Lindberg
And really we got to go inside first. And then how we show up and the lens through which we see things makes this a different. So I heard the order that you were saying that. Yeah.
00;17;24;04 - 00;17;40;12
Marina Nabao
And it's also not that separate. Right. I go inside a little bit and then I can have different insights when I'm with others. And then from those different insights I gain more insight about myself. I think emerge is a little bit.
00;17;40;17 - 00;17;41;00
Cherie Lindberg
Sure.
00;17;41;02 - 00;17;46;13
Marina Nabao
Right. Yeah. Because that's the piece you just named. We heal in relationship.
00;17;46;18 - 00;17;48;00
Cherie Lindberg
Yeah.
00;17;48;02 - 00;17;55;21
Marina Nabao
This idea of, like, I can get a book or an audio book and heal myself. This is marketing.
00;17;55;24 - 00;17;57;07
Cherie Lindberg
Yes, absolutely.
00;17;57;09 - 00;18;07;28
Marina Nabao
This is marketing. This is not what the human body, the human brain, the human nervous system. And I wanted there to say the human spirit is made for.
00;18;08;00 - 00;18;33;08
Cherie Lindberg
Right? Absolutely. I'm just, like, really thinking all these things through. I really like, again how you were talking about how bliss states and pleasure states really help us get connected to the creator within us, and that it's the spiritual path. Can you talk a little bit more about that?
00;18;33;10 - 00;19;01;25
Marina Nabao
Yes. Of course. Well, first I want to say this is not my invention, right. This is ancient wisdom. This is from the times I ancestors were revering the feminine. From the times to. To quote the name of a book from the times that God was a woman, and there was an understanding that there is no separation between spirit and body.
00;19;01;27 - 00;19;24;19
Marina Nabao
There is no separation between orgasmic blissful state and deep devotional spiritual practice. They can merge. They can be together. Right. There's no shame in that. The shame was imposed on us. The separation was imposed on us and then we believed it. And then, you know, culture carries it on.
00;19;24;22 - 00;19;25;10
Cherie Lindberg
00;19;25;12 - 00;20;02;19
Marina Nabao
So just to name that, that this is ancient wisdom. And what I, what I understand is that when we get to this point of realizing the divinity inside of us, we get to this point of seeing through the eyes of the divine what's happening in this world. And we get to a place of deeper responsibility. Right. So I think that for me, that's that's the most beautiful thing, because we can also go to a place of, okay, I'm I'm in a mystic.
00;20;02;20 - 00;20;31;02
Marina Nabao
I spend all this time in blissful, ecstatic states. You know, I, I go places in my friends like states. And my body feels so good. So yummy. It's delicious. And that's it. And I stayed there. And I'm the special one. I'm the only one. Look at me. How evolved I am. How that it's. It can go to a place of deep navel gazing and self-centeredness.
00;20;31;04 - 00;20;33;03
Marina Nabao
And I'm not interested in that.
00;20;33;05 - 00;20;34;04
Cherie Lindberg
Right, I hear you.
00;20;34;04 - 00;21;03;27
Marina Nabao
I'm interested in. Okay. I've been to this place. I've felt the divining me in the cells of my body. I recognize that divinity in me. What do I do with this? If this is not impacting the way that I relate to life, then I think there is a problem with my spiritual practice, right? This place that people can go, especially in like New Age spirituality.
00;21;03;28 - 00;21;13;10
Marina Nabao
I live in California, right? The home of the spirituality can go to this place of deep separation. Even more segregation.
00;21;13;11 - 00;21;14;12
Cherie Lindberg
Yes, yes.
00;21;14;14 - 00;21;20;15
Marina Nabao
These are the spiritual people. These are the chosen ones. There's no chosen ones.
00;21;20;17 - 00;21;21;15
Cherie Lindberg
00;21;21;18 - 00;21;49;06
Marina Nabao
Right there. No one is truly free unless there is still people who are not free. But for me to realize that I need to be more connected to our of life. So the spiritual practice gives me that. And then the human in me, the day to day person doing groceries and you know, paying the bills needs to act with that awareness.
00;21;49;12 - 00;21;49;29
Marina Nabao
Right.
00;21;50;02 - 00;22;05;27
Cherie Lindberg
Yeah. Well, that show up with the spiritual energy role model. It's teach it be of service to others to help them get there. Right, so that they can walk in your footsteps, all of that. So that community.
00;22;05;28 - 00;22;06;03
Marina Nabao
All.
00;22;06;04 - 00;22;07;09
Cherie Lindberg
Of that, you can grow it.
00;22;07;09 - 00;22;28;18
Marina Nabao
Not just that. Just so now I know there is a part of me that can really access the divine, that can really access the power of creation. And then my neighbor, I don't know, did something that bothered me with the fence, with the tree. How do I relate to that neighbor? Right. Holding this anchor?
00;22;28;20 - 00;22;30;24
Cherie Lindberg
Yes. Yes, I love that.
00;22;30;28 - 00;22;40;15
Marina Nabao
It's not like. Oh, now I need to teach other people. Not everybody's going to be a teacher. But how do I bring this in my everyday action?
00;22;40;18 - 00;22;42;04
Cherie Lindberg
Well, how do you show up?
00;22;42;06 - 00;23;05;07
Marina Nabao
How do I show up? How do I not turn my face when I see homeless people suffering? When I see the power of marginalization and oppressed of so many people, what do I do? How do I engage with that? How do I take action again, not from a Savior perspective, but from a relational perspective. Well, this is also me.
00;23;05;11 - 00;23;23;06
Marina Nabao
This is also my world. I'm also responsible for this. I also need to do something and leave this state. First of the navel gazing. That is a very hard one to deal with, but also this state of apathy that, oh, I cannot do anything. It's not my concern.
00;23;23;10 - 00;23;25;14
Cherie Lindberg
Or I don't have any power.
00;23;25;17 - 00;23;26;20
Marina Nabao
Exactly.
00;23;26;26 - 00;23;28;08
Cherie Lindberg
Yeah, exactly.
00;23;28;08 - 00;23;52;26
Marina Nabao
Because how can you believe you don't have any power? Once you feel that you are one with the power of creation that crumbles, that belief goes away. And when I feel that I do have power, perhaps not the power to alone change everything, but the power to make small choices every day, then I can move. I can change the way that I perceive life.
00;23;52;27 - 00;24;09;25
Cherie Lindberg
So the folks that you that you work with, like can you share with us? Like, is this just everyday folks seeking this path or are they waking up in many, many different ways, or is crisis waking them up like, or is it all those things?
00;24;09;27 - 00;24;16;20
Marina Nabao
It's all those things, those things. I think that there's nothing better than a good crisis to wake us up. Yes. Right.
00;24;16;21 - 00;24;19;03
Cherie Lindberg
Even though we don't like it to happen. For sure.
00;24;19;04 - 00;24;45;15
Marina Nabao
Exactly. Nobody enjoys it. But it is a driving force for change. Crisis, trauma. It is a driving force for change. Right. No wonder there's this concept of the post-traumatic growth. So what I notice is that people that come to work with me are not beginners in this path. They're not just taking their first steps. They have already had the crisis.
00;24;45;15 - 00;25;12;15
Marina Nabao
They have already done the therapy. They have already many times, then some sort of somatic work. Many people do have that inclination towards spirituality, either through yoga, meditation, retreats. Nowadays, with the boom of psychedelic therapy, you know, people have done ceremonies in all of that. So these are usually people who are, I like to call them the seekers who are seeking.
00;25;12;16 - 00;25;36;13
Marina Nabao
Right. And then they understand that, okay, there is something about this body of mine that can lead me to this place that I want to experience. Right. And I think that's the perfect moment when they find me, because then I'm like, yes, there is your right. Let me show you. Let me teach you a few things of your techniques.
00;25;36;13 - 00;25;57;29
Marina Nabao
I do need to teach techniques for people. We need to practice. Right. Because we are expanding our capacity for goodness. We're expanding our capacity for ecstatic states. There is a way that our energetic bodies are also being prepared in that expansion. And then we feel it. And then what do we do with it?
00;25;58;05 - 00;25;58;16
Cherie Lindberg
Right.
00;25;58;17 - 00;26;26;29
Marina Nabao
How do we relate? And then that's the piece that I really like about doing relational work, because then that's weaved into the erotic mysticism work. Right. All this conversation that I'm having with you has that combination. It cannot be just self-serving. It cannot be just for you. If you press this about yourself and how special I am, I have I was in this multiyear, orgasmic state for an hour.
00;26;27;01 - 00;26;41;20
Marina Nabao
Wow. How amazing. I'm the best, right? Yeah, a great. Who doesn't like to feel that? It cannot stop there, right? It needs to be then relational. It needs to bring you back to relationality.
00;26;41;23 - 00;27;09;16
Cherie Lindberg
I really love that because I think this is what our world is missing. That bringing it back so that others can wake up and shift into seeking themselves and potentially feeling this because there's so many that don't feel alive. This is some of the work that I'm doing to Marina. So I really appreciate talking to you today and hearing your your perspective and how you're, you know, really holding the space for folks.
00;27;09;16 - 00;27;33;07
Cherie Lindberg
So the seekers that are coming that want to go deeper, you know, and I really love how you're talking about it as a relational and unity. And that mean I know this is idealistic, but if folks that do this work bring it out into the world more and more, and we're going to have more peace and we're going to have more healing.
00;27;33;07 - 00;27;35;27
Cherie Lindberg
And I mean, that's the ideal, right?
00;27;35;29 - 00;27;40;29
Marina Nabao
That's it too. Yeah. And that's the vision that I like to hold on.
00;27;41;04 - 00;27;47;24
Cherie Lindberg
I love that I love that. Yeah. I wish we could all go there right now.
00;27;47;27 - 00;27;48;14
Marina Nabao
Agree.
00;27;48;22 - 00;27;56;08
Cherie Lindberg
Yes. Is there anything that I haven't asked you that would be important to share with our audience?
00;27;56;11 - 00;28;22;15
Marina Nabao
What I like about the conversation we just had was that I was able to share the big vision. Like where I want us all to head towards. Right. And of course it is important to say that the erotic path may not be the path that works for everybody. But I do think that everybody has a path to reclaim aliveness.
00;28;22;19 - 00;28;48;13
Marina Nabao
And from that reclamation of a life at liveness, improve their relationality and then engage more with this life in this matter, in this world. Right. So if I can leave folks with one piece for them to ruminate on is, how are you seeking your aliveness? And how can you bring that back to relationality and how you show up in the world?
00;28;48;18 - 00;28;54;25
Marina Nabao
Yeah, yeah. I think the The Path of the erotic mystic is a very missed path.
00;28;54;28 - 00;28;56;11
Cherie Lindberg
Oh, yes.
00;28;56;13 - 00;29;03;22
Marina Nabao
And that's okay. But but that doesn't mean if this is not your path, that you don't have a path to reclaim your life.
00;29;03;25 - 00;29;04;08
Cherie Lindberg
Right?
00;29;04;10 - 00;29;11;14
Marina Nabao
Right. That's why that you should be conforming with living in the what I call the chains of trauma.
00;29;11;20 - 00;29;12;26
Cherie Lindberg
Yes, yes.
00;29;12;26 - 00;29;32;24
Marina Nabao
Yeah. And leaving disconnected from your partner, from your family, from your loved ones, from your community. So my invitation is for people to find the modality, to find the pathway towards that aliveness, because it's I do think that that aliveness is the key to more relationality.
00;29;32;25 - 00;29;33;21
Cherie Lindberg
Yes, yes.
00;29;33;24 - 00;29;36;20
Marina Nabao
And out relationality. We want to change this world.
00;29;36;21 - 00;30;11;09
Cherie Lindberg
That's right. And I think, again, just reiterating what you're saying is that if there's central nervous system, can't manage it or handle it or hold it, that's the whole point is to grow the capacity, because even though we seek it, we can't always hold it until we grow the capacity for it. And I really find this interesting too, because in our Western culture, everyone has their own idea of eroticism and, you know, sex and seeking out orgasm, all those kinds of things.
00;30;11;12 - 00;30;35;16
Cherie Lindberg
And there's not always positive cognition, you know, connotations to that. I really like this conversation in that it's a path, you know, to the divine, that pleasure is a path to the to the divine and that you can make it, you know, beautiful and that it's part of you being a creator yourself. Yeah. I really love everything that you've said today.
00;30;35;18 - 00;30;42;07
Cherie Lindberg
So this has been a very rich conversation. I really appreciate you being here and sharing yourself with us.
00;30;42;10 - 00;30;45;08
